My name is Mochalova Olga. Now I am a first-year student at the Faculty of Maths, Computer Science and Phisiсs of Volgograd State Social Pedagogical University.

I am interested in numerous areas of hobbies. But one of them has a special meaning for me. So, my hobby is the creation of picturesque photographs. Consequently, the purpose of my composition is to illustrate it.

The history of my hobby started a few years ago due to my studies at art school. Through training I learned the basics of the artistic skill. That led me to participation in the regional festival of children's creativity «Talents of Volgograd's land». During the cruise and attendances of the festival's workshops, I met one of the most wonderful photographers of our city, Vladimir Matyushenko, who works in the publishing house «Faces of Culture». He told me a lot about the art of photography and gave me some good advice.

This meeting was a landmark for the existence of my hobby. But then I decided to combine my passion of photography and affection to painting. So, I take photos and apply different effects of painting using the special computer program and the graphics tablet.

In accordance with the approach of the significant date of 70 Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, I decided to show my works, related to our city, which is directly connected with this event. Our city had to endure a lot of heavy events, but Volgograd managed to survive and be transformed. I would like to show and keep in mind it two ways: as peaceful and as strong. I hope it will remain so for years to come.

So, my hobby helps me develop creatively and to discover new ways of learning computer science.
