My name is Angelina. I am fifteen years old. I study in  the 9th form of school №13.

I consider myself as a person with a wide range of interests. I have many hobbies: learning languages, traveling, shopping, watching movies, listening to  music, roller skating and many other activities. I would like to tell you about my favourite ones. Languages and traveling are among them. I have been learning English for 7 years already. English helps me to understand people from different countries and chat with my pen friends.

 To improve my English I try to read foreign literature and to watch films in the original. Moreover, I am glad when I have the opportunity to take part in the contests connected with languages. It goes without saying that the trip to an English-speaking country will be a great step in my personal development.

However, my real passion is Spanish. I went mad about Spanish after watching Spanish series. That’s why I couldn’t help learning this romantic language. It has such a melodic tone that its music to my ears. When I express my feelings in Spanish the words sound more sensual and powerful. I’ve been learning Spanish for about 3 years. To my mind, my pronunciation and grammar are quite well, nevertheless, there is no limit for perfection. I succeeded in Spanish with the help of my teacher, a native speaker and the irresistible desire to visit country of my dreams. What’s more, I fell in love with Spanish culture that is widely known for Flamenco music and dance, bullfights, fantastic beaches and lots of sunshine. I often fancy myself walking along the streets of Madrid or sunbathing on the beach of Costa del Sol or watching a football match at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Unfortunately it’s only in my dreams for now and I enjoy traveling around Russia.

Among the places where I have been, I want to point out Saint Petersburg and Veshenskaya village in Rostov region. Every city has its own culture and it’s a great pleasure to touch it. I was amazed at the magnificent architecture of St Petersburg, its unforgettable view of the Neva River and a large number of remarkable sights.

As for Veshenskaya village I’ve never seen such awesome scenery. It is considered one of the most beautiful Don places. It is very important in historical aspect due to Sholokhov’s novel. To tell you the truth, I haven’t read «Tikhiy Don» yet but I will read it without any doubts.
