First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Polina. I am 11 years old, form 5-th grade. I am a tall, slim, dark-haired girl with brown eyes.  I live in Volgograd. Like many other children when I was a child I went to a kindergarten.   At the age of 7 I went to school. I was very proud when I became a pupil.

As for me I am an outgoing person. I think I took after my mother. My parents are friendly and hospitable. They like to invite our friends and neighbours. My parents are very kind, friendly, polite and very understanding

You know, it is not very easy to speak about myself because I do not see myself from the side. Also I can tell you a little bit about my character and my interests. As for my character, I think, I am a good humoured, emotional person and rather modest. I have a lot of friends. I am fond of music, reading, dancing. I love drawing and painting and when I have time I do it with great pleasure. I like reading very much. Books, magazines, almost everything what I find interesting. Another interests that I have are foreign languages and travels. I like watching films in English and listening to songs in English and translating them. Here is a funny poem that I loved:

All My Great Excuses

I started on my homework,

but my pen ran out of ink…

My hamster ate my homework…

My computer’s on the blink…

I tripped and dropped my homework

in the soup my mom was cooking…

My brother flushed it down the toilet

when I wasn’t looking…

My mother ran my homework

through the washer and the dryer…

An airplane crashed into our house…

My homework caught on fire…

Tornadoes blew my notes away…

Volcanoes rocked our town…

My books were taken hostage

by an evil killer clown…

Some aliens abducted me…

I had a shark attack…

A pirate swiped my homework

and refused to give it back…

I worked on these excuses

I like to help people around and see how they become happy. I like kind, honest, polite and responsible people. I have a lot of friends. We spend a lot of time together. As for us, we like computer games, to surf the Net, to communicate with people in different social nets and forums.

As for my plans for the future, I dream to visit all countries of the world and to see all famous sight and great places. I hope my dreams will come true!
