The educational project “The places We love”

The Aim of the  project

To know more about the place where we live and to find cross-cultural links between our country and English-speaking countries. 

The goal of the project

 To find places in our city which can be connected with the history and culture of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Target group

Students of our school.

Project summary

The problem of our project was to find places which can be connected with the history and culture of The UK. Within 2 months of the project:

• Essay, painting and photo contests carried out in our class;
•  Some video clips were made.

      During the extra-curricular classes we studied the maps and got to know that there is Shakespeare street not far from our school.  For the competition project participants presented 8 drawings, 19 photographs and 14 essays reflecting students’ research about cross-cultural links between our country and English-speaking countries.  The best pieces have been selected to make a video clip.

We made an educational movie and demonstrated it to our classmates.
