My name is Anya. My surname or last name is Shalyapkina. Now I am a first-year student at the Faculty of Maths, Computers Science and Physics of Volgograd State Social Pedagogical University. I’m a full time student.
I’d like to tell you about what I’m really interested in. Not many of my friends know about my passion. My passion is to write poems.
I’m not an enclosed person though. I’ve got a lot of friends that I love to spend my time with.
But, I think, everyone has such moments when you just want to be alone with yourself, when someone offends you maybe or because of bad weather outside.

In moments like this it goes really smooth, I just take a pen or a pencil and the words in my head simply combine into rhymes.
Sometimes I can write a big poem in fifteen minutes, but sometimes it takes about an hour to write just one line.

I can’t exactly say now when I had written my first poem, but when I was at school a kind of awkward situation happened. I was the 7th or 8th grade pupil, and when during the break I was reading my poem to my classmates. I noticed that my literature teacher had approached. She asked me about who the author was. I was to shy to answer that it was me and said that it was someone I didn’t know. She smiled and said I had a talent.
I didn’t feel comfortable that I had lied to my teacher. At the end of a school year I asked her if she remembered about the poem I was reading. She said she was and I told her the truth. After that she took a register and put two good marks for me. “For honesty and for talent” she said.
So this is one my poems:
We only given our lives once
You don’t have to waste your time
Someone reads this and smiles
Saying: no, that’s not about me

We all are easy to offend
I remember all those people
O could hate them for years
And I hade hundreds of ideas in my head

Of how to hurt them back
For all the pain and unkind words
So they just explode
Oh, my head, where were you?!

And once I was lost in thought
That we only live once
I thought about our close people and something important
As we are thought about this way too

As you can see my hobby help me develop my creativity and lead to self-improvement.
